Rafoxanide & Levamisole Hcl Suspension

Composition

Rafoxanide IP 1.5% w/v
Levamisole Hydrochloride IP 1.5% w/v

Indications

Reflox is effective in the treatment and control of roundworm, lungworm and fluke infections in cattle and sheep. It is highly effective against mature and developing immature stages of Levamisole- susceptible major stomach and bowel worm species including Trichostrongylus spp, cooperia spp, Ostertagia spp (except Ostertagia larvae in cattle), Haemonchus spp, Nematodirus spp, Bunostumum spp, Oesophagostomum spp, Chabertia spp and lungworms dictyocaulus spp. Reflox is effective against mature liver fluke in cattle and sheep.

Administration

Reflox should be administered at the rate of 1 ml/ 2kg body wt., Orally, further dosing may be necessary at four & six weeks intervals it fluke infestation is high. Dairy cows should only be dosed the drying period prior to calving.

Precautions & Contradictions

Reflox should not be administered to cows producing milk for human consumption, pre-slaughter with-drawl period in cattle and sheep 4 weeks. Avoid contact with eyes with copious amounts of water if comes into contact. Reflox should not be mixed with other products.
