Oxytetracycline injectable solution-Long acting

• Each ml contains:
• Oxytetracycline Dihydrate IP
• Equivalent to Anhydrous Oxytetracycline : 200 mg
• In 2-pyrrolidone vehicle system.

Indications

It is indicated in bovines, swine, sheep, goats, camelids and poultry: in all the infectious processes. In local and systemic infections such as bronchopneumonia, mastitis, bacterial enteritis, arthritis, osteoarthritis, urinary tract infections, prostatitis, pododermatitis, keratoconjuctivitis, clamidiosis, anaplasmosis, carbuncle, atrophic rhinitis, leptospirosis, pasteurelosis, actinomycosis, actinobacillosis, nocardiosis, eperythrozoonosis, haemobartonelosis, etc.

Dosage & Administration

It is applied by deep intramuscular route or subcutaneous route, bovines, swine, sheep, goats, camelids: 1 ml/10 kg of body weight(20 mg/kg oxytetracycline) as a unique injection. Poultry: 0.25 ml/kg of body weight (which corresponds to 50 mg/ kg. of b.w.); only by subcutaneous route. Small animals over 1 kg of b.w. should be administered with 0.25 ml as the total amount.
