Composition

• Albendazole IP 2.27% w/v
• Rafoxanide IP 2.27% w/v

Dosage

• For round worms/ tape worms in cattle, Buffalo, Horse, Pig.
• Sheep & Goat : 7.5 mg/ kg body weight
• Cattle & Buffalo : 10 mg/ kg body weight

Indications

Albendazole is a safe and broad spectrum dewormer for all major species of round worms affecting ruminants. Albendazole rather effectively removes both adult and larval stages of major ruminal parasites such as Haemonchus, Ostertagia, Cooperia, trichostringylus, Bunostomum, Oesophagostomum and Dictyocaulus. Rafoxanide is the best known dewormer for the elimination of liver flukes. It is absorted through the gut and achieves peak plasma levels within 12-24 hours.
